Privacy notice
Last updated: 22 July 2026
Deeside Architectural Design Limited ("we", "Mike") is a small architectural design firm registered in England & Wales (company no. 07128221). This notice explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you use deesideextensions.co.uk or contact us.
What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address and what you tell us about your project — used solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange your site visit.
- Cost estimator: the choices you make (project type, council, planning status) are attached to your enquiry if you submit the form, so Mike can call you already informed. If you don't submit the form, nothing is collected — the estimator runs entirely in your browser.
- Phone & email: if you call or email, we keep your details and correspondence for as long as needed to handle your project.
What we don't do
- No marketing lists — we won't email you newsletters or promotions.
- No selling or sharing of your details with third parties for their own purposes.
- No advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.
Where your information lives
Enquiries are delivered to our email and stored in our enquiry records (hosted by our website and automation providers: Netlify, Make and Airtable, each acting as data processors). Emails are held in our business mailboxes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details that don't become projects are deleted within 12 months. Project records (drawings, applications, correspondence) are kept for 6 years, in line with professional and legal obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mike@deesideextensions.co.uk and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
